While working this week, came across this old Cottonwood. Apparently standing upright was no longer an option for this old fellow. The horizontal postition though, seems to working fine for it. Guess getting old even sucks for trees. He's a survivor though.

Great pic, saw that many Cottonwood in your area along the Missouri looked as if they had went through some bad weather. They just keep trying to hang in there it seems.
